As a Strategic Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for deploying global and regional category strategies and defining strategies for shared best practice and local sourcing categories within your area of responsibility. You will work closely with business stakeholders to ensure compliance with procurement standards, methods, and processes.

**Main Accountabilities:**

**Strategy & Governance**

* Conduct market research and analysis to inform category strategies

* Support global and regional category managers in defining strategies based on market research and analysis

* Implement category strategies according to defined activities

* Consult on global strategy development in similar categories within your area and in regions

* Develop and implement local strategies

**Procurement Business Partnering**

* Select, negotiate, and contract with suppliers for local frame conditions

* Manage contracts and coordinate with legal departments

* Monitor activities to maximize procurement value contribution

**Performance Management**

* Responsible for performance of total spend in your category

* Document and aggregate procurement KPI data

**Procurement Processes & Systems**

* Ensure compliance with legal requirements and procurement procedures

* Maintain and quality assure relevant master data

* Manage eCatalogues and automated order channels

**Supplier Management**

* Ensure proper supplier selection to minimize supply risks

* Manage supplier relationships to ensure they can fulfill our supply requirements

* Work with suppliers to achieve innovative solutions

**Requirements:**

**Knowledge, Skills, and Experience**

* University degree

* 5 years of experience in procurement

* English business fluent, other languages an advantage

* Advanced Excel skills

* SAP knowledge

* Managing functional projects in a matrix

* Communication and interpersonal skills

* Proactive, pragmatic, cost-conscious, creative, result-driven
