Job Description
The Senior Tax Manager will oversee the company's tax planning and compliance, developing and implementing strategic tax planning for all necessary federal and state taxes. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing members of the tax team as they prepare components of the company's tax filings.
- Providing internal tax advisory services and support on business transactions.
- Reviewing current and deferred tax provision.
- Attention to external financial auditors, including preparation of tax reports.
- Attention to audits by SAT and US authorities.
- Tax defense procedures, including conclusive agreement, administrative appeal, mutual agreement procedures, nullity claim, and Amparo.
- Transfer pricing rules and its effect on daily operations.
- Advanced pricing agreements.
- Cross border transactions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
A successful Senior Tax Manager should have:
- Extensive knowledge of MFRS, IFRS, and USGAAP.
- At least 10-15 years leading the tax team within a manufacturing company.
- A thorough understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in tax planning and strategy implementation.
- Proven expertise in tax risk management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.
Benefits
