Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Asset Governance Specialist to join our team at Schneider Electric Global. As a key member of our IT Asset Governance (ITAG) function, you will play a critical role in enabling smart and sustainable decisions on digital investments aligned with our overall Governance Strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Partner with cross-functional teams, including Publisher Compliance, Legal, Purchasing, and Finance, to ensure accurate data analysis and sharing.
  2. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of IT contracts, including licensing terms, usage terms, and grant of rights.
  3. Drive the design and implementation of additional systems to enhance data availability and analytics for compliance inquiries.
  4. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks associated with IT assets, entitlement agreements, and deployment positions.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective data sharing and collaboration.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and direction, particularly in automation and AI, to inform strategic business objectives.
  7. Generate reports, graphics, and presentations to communicate complex data insights to senior leaders.
  8. Contribute to the ITAG team's success by creating dashboards and reports to drive business outcomes.
Requirements
  1. Education:
    • Bachelor's degree preferred.
    • Related postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
    • Technology-specific qualifications relative to licensing, procurement, data analytics, or contracting are highly preferred.
  2. Language requirements:
    • Professional and fully conversant in English.
    • Second or third language would be an advantage.
  3. Experience:
    • 2+ years of Contracting & Compliance-related experience (Technology or Software Licensing Preferred).
    • 2+ years of experience with ERP, PO, or Finance systems.
    • 3+ years of experience in providing specialist views on contract development and delivery, terms and conditions, and contract practices.
    • 3+ years of experience in procurement, IT for procurement, CLM systems, data analysis.
    • 3+ years of experience in the software business industry, with an understanding of industry trends and direction, particularly in automation and/or AI.
  4. Skills & Behavioral requirements:
