Revolutionize Healthcare User Experience as a Principal Visual Designer at Oracle

We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Principal Visual Designer to join our team at Oracle. As a key member of our design team, you will play a critical role in shaping user-centered experiences that have a profound impact on the healthcare industry.

We aim to create a state-of-the-art consumer-grade end-user experience across our portfolio of products that will distinguish our software from the competition. Our technologies connect people and systems worldwide, and our wide range of services support the clinical, financial, and operational needs of organizations of every size.

To achieve this goal, we need talented and experienced designers who love empowering technology users with high-quality interaction and visual design. In this role, you will work alongside the best designers, product managers, and technologists to design solutions that organizations across the world use for their healthcare systems and operations.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Discover user needs and develop deep insights, generating concepts, and crafting solutions on how people will interact with the products we design.
  • Create user journeys, wireframes, information architecture, user flow diagrams, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate designs and iterate based on feedback.
  • Framing and telling the story around your design solutions, contributing to research findings, conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale both verbally and visually.
  • Present concepts and ideas to key stakeholders, product, and development teams to establish common understanding and gain buy-in.
  • Articulate guiding principles to ground and inspire ideation, prototyping, and exploration of various design solutions.
  • Design components with ingenious micro-interactions that integrate with Oracle's Redwood Design System, prioritize accessibility, and respond across desktop and mobile experiences.
  • Partner closely with researchers and user experience designers to ensure your designs are functional and fit user needs.
  • Partner with engineering teams from design to hand-off and ensure components are implemented to specification.
  • Mentor junior designers on the team.

About You:

  • You have 8+ years of experience designing, building, and delivering products.
  • You're a full-stack user experience designer with experience in visual design, interaction design, aesthetics, typography, motion, 3D, human factors, and more.
  • You've contributed to an enterprise Design System in the past.
  • You thrive on working well with others and make the people around you better.
  • You're a fantastic storyteller who knows that our products tell customers a story through the user experience.
  • You love rules and know when to break them, thinking systemically to create coherent experiences.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of $160,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
