Production Assembler I

As a key member of the CommScope team, the Production Assembler I - Electronics Specialist will be responsible for assembling and integrating electronic hardware components. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical assembly processes, as well as excellent problem-solving skills.

• Perform electrical and mechanical assembly of electronic hardware components, including wire/cable assemblies, through-hole components, and Surface Mount Technology (SMT) components.
• Perform microscopic hand soldering and assembling of electronic modules according to written instructions.
• Interface with engineering personnel to provide feedback on engineering prototype assemblies.
• Track, maintain, and requisition engineering electronic component part stock levels as required.
• Perform other duties as required.

The ideal candidate will possess a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job and be in the process of gaining knowledge and skills through a training period. The incumbent will work under close supervision, receiving detailed instructions on all work and frequent checking of work quality and performance.

The Production Assembler I - Electronics Specialist will work in a fast-paced environment, performing multiple tasks of manual assembly. The incumbent will be required to acquire job skills and learn company policies and procedures to complete tasks.
