The Regulatory Product Scientist is a critical role within Gowanco, responsible for ensuring the regulatory compliance and strategy for our active substances in plant protection products. This position will oversee the scientific studies required for registration, working closely with the Global Regulatory teams.
Key Responsibilities- Compile and manage necessary studies and scientific documentation for regulatory submissions.
- Ensure studies meet high quality standards and comply with applicable regulations and guidelines.
- Coordinate and track regulatory projects related to assigned projects.
- Interact with Development, Marketing, Chemistry, and Sales departments to ensure product and regulatory expectations are met.
- Participate in cross-functional project teams and work effectively with multiple disciplines.
- Support communications with regulatory agencies to facilitate review and approval for assigned projects.
- Develop and track budgets for studies related to assigned actives.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, efficiency, and follow-through as the primary technical regulatory liaison.
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Ecotoxicology, or related science field.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in the science arena of Crop Protection industry (alternatively in biocides industries).
- Demonstrated ability to successfully write and orally communicate technical issues.
- Excellent project management and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to influence others.
