At Mace, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Independent Project Management Office (IPMO) for the Americas region. As Americas Regional IPMO Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of capital works for over 1,100 premises across the region, including office, branch, datacentres, and ATMs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and lead the regional IPMO team to deliver a world-class service to the client.
  • Represent Capital Services and act as a conduit with other CS workstreams within the client organization to ensure consistency and appropriate inputs.
  • Coordinate all activities across the IPMO team to deliver a world-class service to the client.
  • Supervise and direct the delivery of all performance management within the account, including all aspects of Digital Services.
  • Oversee technical standards and governance framework assurance.
  • Provide expert advice and support to all projects within the client portfolio, partnering with clients to exceed their expectations and build strong professional relationships.
  • Act as the PMO and Project Controls Subject Matter Expert on behalf of the client.
  • Grow the account through impeccable delivery of the contracted service, providing a foundation for enhanced revenue and contributing additional services.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience of effective PMO and project controls leadership on significant/landmark PMO projects.
  • Significant experience of leading the effective deployment of robust global PMO strategies/frameworks and integrated project controls methodologies.
  • Expert knowledge of risk tools, techniques, and software.
  • Ability to manage activities with significant uncertainty or ambiguity, providing effective consultancy to clients and other key stakeholders to drive effective outcomes.
  • Practical application and understanding of the opportunities related to data analytics and intelligent reporting.
  • Strong business development skills and commercial awareness/acumen.
  • Strong understanding of construction and related industry trends, innovation, and associated threats and opportunities.
  • Deep domain knowledge of providing PMO and project controls leadership in collaboration with external bodies, professional institutions, and peers.
