Senior Packaging Engineer Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Packaging Engineer to lead our NA Packaging Engineering Team at ZF Group.

About the Job

This is a key position within our organization, responsible for promoting compliance with Packaging Standards and driving the evolution of packaging to align with company strategies.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the NA Packaging Engineering Team in developing and implementing packaging solutions that meet customer needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Promote continuous improvement and cost savings through process optimization and innovation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective management of returnable containers and optimize supply chain operations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 5+ years of direct work experience in packaging areas, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • Fluent English language skills, with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or packaging science.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced level skills in Excel.
