Role Overview

• The Test Engineer Specialist will play a pivotal role in performing and coordinating testing activities relating to machines, spares and wears, and providing customers with technical services in conjunction with sales.">
• This challenging position requires frequent site travel based in Cananea and will be part of the high-achieving Minerals team at Metso.">

Key Responsibilities

1. ">
2. Supporting the Testing Team Manager in the execution of lab test work, on time, on budget, and within scope.">
3. Assisting in developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in the lab.">
4. Completing laboratory testing procedures according to standards.">
5. Assisting in the day-to-day operations of the lab.">
6. Assisting in the construction/maintenance and operation of various testing equipment.">
7. Preparing and participating in writing and/or reviewing of laboratory data and reports.">
8. Assisting in proposal generations.">
9. Attending site visits.">
10. Other duties as assigned.">

Requirements

• ">
• A Mechanical trade qualification from college or technical school, or three to six years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.">
• At least two years of experience from one or several of the following industries: mining, aggregate, or contract crushing.">
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.">
• Ability to work effectively with a range of partners and stakeholders.">
• A strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental concerns.">
• Good analytical and critical thinking skills.">
• Attention to detail with emphasis on quality.">
