Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Engineer to join our team at Sensata Technologies in Mexicali. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and processes, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into partially finished or finished products
- Lead the planning, implementation, and management of compliance, manufacturing, and production processes with internal and external safety, quality, and regulatory standards requirements for worldwide distribution
- Oversee design methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of production processes, production equipment, and finished products
- Analyze reports and production data to identify trends and recommend updates or changes to quality standards and procedures when necessary
- Develop methods for testing, sampling, and training
Requirements:
- A university degree required (i.e., Bachelor's degree) or equivalent relevant work experience
- Audit experience (leading or participating)
- PQE and CQE experience
- Gage R&R experience
- CMM machinery knowledge
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
- Strong communication skills; oral, written, and presentation
