About the Role:

American Axle & Manufacturing is seeking a skilled Logistics Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of all shipments and invoices using established systems.
  • Retrieve data or correspondence from files within a timely manner.
  • Notify shipping or receiving departments of schedules and any logistical issues.
  • Verify that documents and checklists are accurate and complete.
  • Coordinate daily shipments between shippers, plants, and transportation providers.
  • Track and monitor all shipments and update cargo status to proactively identify any delays and take swift action to implement corrective measures and notify all parties involved.
  • Reserve, track, and monitor shipments dispatched as requested by plant materials/logistics teams.
  • Meet all international shipping requirements, including but not limited to, cargo manifests, commercial invoices, labeling, and other documentation.
  • Track cube utilization statistics at loading and unloading docks.
  • Perform all other assigned tasks.
