**Job Summary**
Rumzer is seeking a highly skilled Product Stewardship Specialist to join our team. As a Product Stewardship Specialist, you will play a crucial role in assessing the environmental impact and sustainability of products throughout their life cycle.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Analyze materials used in products and packaging to assess conformance to global regulations such as EU REACH, PFAS, TSCA, RoHS, etc.
- Conduct life cycle assessments (LCAs) for manufacturers producing complex, engineered assemblies.
- Analyze data related to materials, production, transportation, energy usage, carbon emissions, and end-of-life considerations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize product design and minimize environmental impact.
- Develop reports and recommendations based on regulatory assessments and LCA findings.
- Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in life cycle analysis methodologies.
**Requirements**
- An undergraduate degree in mechanical, electrical, or other relevant engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in product design - preferably in electrical equipment or medical devices.
- Exposure to LCA software tools and data analysis (or strong desire to learn LCA).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience in new product development/design is preferred.
- Candidates with openLCA experience are encouraged to apply.
