Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Screw Tightening Specialist to join our team at Robert Bosch Group. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective tightening and screwing processes across various production lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement process standards for tightening and screwing, ensuring compliance with Bosch standards (KFV, VVT, DMD) and collaborating with COC experts to establish new process standards.
  • Ensure the maintenance of a clean and organized work area, participating in Lean Manufacturing 5S activities and projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, eliminating non-value-added activities and ensuring the highest quality standards.
  • Train engineers and technicians on screwing and tightening basics, including materials properties, tightening/screwing strategies, and process parameters.
  • Develop and follow procedures for standard and validation of the tightening and screwing process, adhering to VVT, DMD, and KFV standards.
  • Identify and address process gaps, improvement opportunities, and vulnerabilities, providing training to engineers and technicians to resolve these issues systematically.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electromechanical Engineering.
  • Advanced English language skills.
  • Experience in a team-based environment, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
  • Knowledge of mechanical properties of materials, robotics systems, and suppliers (Staubli, Kuka, UR).
  • Experience with different technologies of screwdrivers (Atlas Copco, Rexroth, Kistler, Ingersoll).
  • Deep knowledge of statics and dynamic systems, mechanical principles, and concepts.
  • Experience with different junctions (plastic-metal, plastic-plastic, metal-metal, rubber-metal).
  • Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Experience (3-5 years) as a screwing and tightening specialist.
  • Basic knowledge of vision systems (Keyence, Cognex).
  • Deep knowledge of different torque strategies (DTM, ATM, AM, etc.).
  • Knowledge in SolidWorks/AutoCAD.
  • Deep knowledge of parameters of the screwing and tightening process.
  • Deep knowledge of tightening/screwing process problems and solutions.
  • Knowledge in MSA and SPC (Minitab, Solara, or similar).
