About the Role:
Syngenta Group is seeking a highly skilled Financial Regulatory Specialist to lead our Mexican financial regulatory affairs and ensure compliance with applicable regulations. As a member of our Finance team, you will support the area through effective collaboration with local country Business and Finance organization as well as regional and global Group Tax function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Mexican financial regulatory affairs and regulatory compliance obligations in rapidly changing regulatory environment.
- Ensure close collaboration and engagement with local country Business and Finance organization and global Group Tax function.
- Monitor and manage profit level of Mexican Syngenta entities in cooperation with global Transfer Pricing team.
- Support positioning of global tax strategy and risk management framework in Mexico.
- Represent Group Tax in leadership meetings and other senior management forums.
Requirements:
- Expert knowledge in Mexican and international financial regulatory matters, gained in one of the Big4s or ideally combined with in-house experience in a multinational company.
- Strong finance, statutory accounting, and financial reporting knowledge; understanding of underlying operational processes, systems, and data requirements.
- Fluent Spanish and English language skills are essential.
- Leadership and stakeholder management skills; comfortable dealing with stakeholders at different levels in the organization.
