Salary and Benefits

The Director of Procurement Consulting can expect a competitive salary range of $150,000 to $200,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. Job Description

As the Director of Procurement Consulting, you will lead the development and implementation of strategic procurement plans, driving procurement transformations for our clients. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leadership and Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies for clients, addressing their unique needs and challenges. Drive the growth of the procurement consulting practice through business development, client relationship management, and thought leadership.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor on procurement and supply chain matters. Develop sound recommendations contributing to program objectives (cost savings, SLAs, Transformation, etc). Oversee the delivery of high-quality consulting services, ensuring client satisfaction and successful project outcomes.
  • Project Management: Oversee the management of multiple consulting projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions that meet client needs. Ensure effective resource allocation and utilization across projects.
  • Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of procurement consultants, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. Provide ongoing coaching and support to team members, ensuring their professional growth and development. Promote knowledge sharing and best practices within the team.
  • Market Analysis and Insights: Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and emerging technologies in procurement and supply chain management. Provide clients with insights and recommendations based on market analysis and best practices. Contribute to thought leadership initiatives, including publishing articles, speaking at conferences, and participating in industry forums.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CPM, CPSM) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or related consulting roles.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing procurement consulting projects.
  • Strong business development and client relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.
