About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP S/4HANA Cloud Finance Consultant to join our team. As a trusted advisor to our customers, you will play a key role in helping them navigate their journey to the cloud, from scoping and planning to continuous value engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a deep understanding of the cloud business model and its implications on ERP processes.
  • Provide expert guidance on localization topics, with a focus on Mexico and the LAC region.
  • Ensure customer success, satisfaction, and referenceability for S/4HANA Cloud customers.
  • Articulate the S/4HANA Cloud business capabilities and value, differentiating it from on-premise solutions.
  • Follow established methodologies, tools, and processes to ensure successful customer adoption.
  • Deliver agile services in a fast-changing environment.
  • Support the industrialization of the implementation process.
  • Understand and practice value-based 'fit to standard' delivery approach.
  • Position and deliver transition roadmaps between on-prem and Cloud solutions.
  • Drive the adoption of the value-based innovation roadmap and guide the customer in their journey.
  • Develop business processes according to industry best practices, empowering a standard mindset.
  • Think on multiple scenarios a solution can have according to the customer architecture.
  • Collaborate with internal and external consultants to drive platform growth and solution providing.
  • Drive and deliver customer conversations focused on business outcomes.
Operational Management
  • Ensure customer satisfaction is the top priority in all customer-related activities.
  • Manage and drive expectations during the customer lifecycle.
  • Responsible for high-quality delivery in all assigned S/4HANA Cloud customers.
  • Ensure timely and quality delivery, revenue consumption, and profitability management.
  • Drive the Cloud Journey strategy for S/4HANA Cloud.
  • Deliver localization topics based on standard and best practices functionality.
Cooperation and Coordination

Ensure close cooperation with all product and solution-related teams in SAP, including solution management, product group, development, and operations.

Product Expertise
  • Have a holistic overview of the SAP product and service portfolio, including S/4HANA, S/4HANA Cloud, BTP, SAP Success Factors, SAP Concur, and SAP Ariba.
  • Knowledge of ERP Finance Architecture and Integration.
  • Experience in Cloud solutions, including roadmaps, security, and integration.
  • Knowledge in tax regulations focused on Mexico, with a desire to grow knowledge to other countries in the LAC region.
  • Desirable knowledge of extensibility with SAP BTP and knowledge of DRC compliance reports in Mexico.
Education and Competencies/Skills
  • Delivery experience in agile methodology, such as SAP Activate.
  • Experience in change and value management and realization consulting delivery skills.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity, and change.
  • Acts as a trusted advisor to the customer's finance department, covering the entire company of a big/complex, multinational finance processes end-to-end.
  • Certifications in S/4HANA Finance are preferable.
  • Defines finance strategies, governance, and finance process architecture based on state-of-the-art S4HANA Cloud Finance technology.
  • Defines the strategic, conceptual, and technical boundaries for the design of the SAP S4HANA Finance processes, supporting the accounting principles and localizations solutions required by the customer.
  • Is able to address the organization as well as the procedures of customers' finance departments with a focus on high efficiency, stability, and performance.
  • Cross-industry experience.
  • Strong writing, mentoring, decision-making, communication, and meeting facilitation skills.
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Professional Experience
  • 3+ years of professional experience, with demonstrated knowledge/expertise of at least one industry/solution segment, preferably S4HANA Finance experience.
  • 2+ years of ERP and related experience, with 3 years of SAP product delivery experience.
  • 2+ years of customer-facing experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a consulting capacity.
