The Bilingual Operations Agent I will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics services. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter shipments into the Transportation Management System (TMS) platform
  • Contact pickup and delivery locations to schedule appointment times, adhering to shipment constraints
  • Verify the accuracy of shipment information with customers
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing service requests, inquiries, and concerns in a professional and timely manner
  • Collaborate with carrier sourcing representatives to ensure competitive rates and optimal logistics solutions
  • Manage a high volume of calls daily, maintaining a positive and patient demeanor
  • Be available for on-call duties, covering nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 2 years of customer service experience and 4 years of freight logistics experience preferred
