We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Ambu. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Comply with company environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain maximum availability of facilities and equipment 365 days a year.
  • Support production areas with building activities and facilities maintenance.
  • Review and implement daily maintenance checklists.
  • Keep work areas and equipment clean and well-maintained.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with teams to identify and resolve chronic problems that generate downtime.
  • Verify and maintain equipment and machinery.
  • Perform corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance tasks.
  • Comply with and share company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain clean and operable building equipment and systems.
  • Start and stop building maintenance equipment at the beginning and end of shifts.
  • Manufacture and repair real estate and equipment as needed.
  • Disassemble, repair, adjust, and maintain shop floor equipment.
  • Develop and maintain efficient handling of hand tool equipment in the workshop.
  • Perform work at heights in accordance with hazardous work regulations.
  • Identify and review significant aspects of environmental impact.
  • Perform assigned work with quality, on time, and correctly.
Requirements
  • High school or technical career.
  • Finished repair and/or mechanical, electrical, electromechanical, machine and tool, or industrial maintenance technician training.
  • Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • 5 years of experience in facilities and/or equipment maintenance.
Work Environment

This is a manufacturing facility, and employees may be exposed to noise, chemicals, fumes, airborne particles, machinery, vibration, or other workplace hazards controlled within compliance of current safety and health standards.
