Cost Analyst for Inventory and Accounting

**About the Role**

Arista Networks is seeking a Senior Cost and Financial Analyst to join our Operations Finance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the accounting for Inventory and Cost, and will support the Manufacturing Operations. This role will report to the Cost Accounting Manager in Santa Clara.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Ensure an accurate and timely month-end close by providing management and support to the accounting close process, including monitoring inventory-related transactions and reconciling variance accounts.
  • Perform activities related to Standard cost, Rebate, Royalty, and OGOGS expense accounts.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Manufacturing Operations, leveraging a strong business acumen and accounting background to facilitate information flow between cross-functional business partners and the Finance team.
  • Work with external and internal Audit for quarterly Audits and SOX compliance.
  • Perform ongoing process assessments and identify and implement improvements to policies, procedures, internal controls, and tools to realize greater operating efficiencies while maintaining accuracy of financial records.
  • Perform complex analytical studies and undertake projects as required.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA or other relevant body qualified is a plus.
  • Required 8+ years of budgeting, costing, and inventory accounting experience in a mid-to-large size technology hardware company.
  • Knowledge of supply chain, inventory flow, operations process, and manufacturing principles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and advanced Excel skills.
  • Proficiency with accounting software, with experience of NetSuite an advantage but not essential.
  • Excellent attention to detail and experience contributing to internal controls and process enhancements.
  • Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, perform well under pressure, juggle multiple priorities, and meet aggressive deadlines.
