About the Role

AECOM is seeking a highly experienced Civil Senior Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating engineering production activities for an operating unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supports, oversees and coordinates engineering production activities for an operating unit.
  • Makes decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritative.
  • Initiates and maintains contact with senior-level management within the company and is skilled in dispute resolution and negotiation of critical issues.
  • Demonstrates mature judgment in anticipating and solving both routine and unusual operations problems.
  • Supervises a team of designers and technical drawers, ensuring all project issues are communicated and promoting team and inter-discipline communications.
  • Ensures all sub-contractors are aligned with project objectives, regarding quality, cost and scheduling.
  • Makes recommendations regarding the strategy to develop services in the most efficient way to meet project milestones and cost.
  • Must have a holistic project knowledge and senior judgment to establish or change priorities to the team.
  • Must thoroughly read contract terms, scope and schedule to identify client requests, changes or deliverables.
  • Works in daily coordination and communication with the PM, project director, senior technical coordinators, project control specialist, contract management and change order manager.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership.
  • Infrastructure and large-scale projects, preferably railways.
  • Coordination of engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Civil engineer or similar.
  • More than 15 years of experience.
