The VPS Engineer / Technician plays a crucial role in overseeing the internal production standards and spearheading continuous improvement initiatives within their respective APU.
Main Responsibilities:
- VPS Competencies: Enhance the VPS capabilities of the APU through targeted training and coaching sessions.
- VPS Strategies: Collaborate in defining the VPS strategy for the APU, aligning it with plant and site priorities, and ensuring effective deployment of VPS methodologies.
- VPS Genba Activities: Assist the APU Manager in managing ongoing improvements, identifying deviations from VPS standards, and implementing corrective actions. Lead workshops and facilitate the execution of improvement proposals.
- VPS Results: Support the APU in consistently enhancing its QCDM outcomes through the disciplined application of VPS tools. Ensure the deployment of VPS standards and best practices across the APU.
