Job Description:

A Senior AML Analyst plays a pivotal role in ensuring the organization's adherence to anti-money laundering (AML) regulatory requirements. The role will report to the AML Compliance Officer in Mexico.

The key responsibilities include:
  1. Supporting the AML Compliance Officer in researching updates on AML regulatory frameworks and emerging trends.
  2. Preparing investigation files for presentation to the Communication and Control Committee, as needed.
  3. Conducting investigations to identify high-risk customers by evaluating their transactional and risk profiles, and processing them accordingly.
  4. Assisting the Compliance team with AML regulatory reporting.
  5. Following up on communications with authorities regarding AML matters, including requirements, restraining orders, responses, and reports.
  6. Providing advice on sanctions, screening, and KYC concerns to the Risk Operations team.
  7. Assisting the AML Compliance Officer with day-to-day responsibilities and risk assessments related to AML.
  8. Responding to AML compliance queries from the business and escalating them as necessary.
  9. Supporting audit reviews and following up on corrective measures.
  10. Participating in AML training programs.
  11. Conducting risk assessments, periodic and ad hoc reviews, and enhanced due diligence.
