About the Role

We are seeking a highly technical and experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the development of our mobile app platform. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering platform capabilities in a fast-paced and rapidly growing business environment. You will be responsible for developing and managing deployment, evolution, and developer support plans for our mobile app platform offerings. Additionally, you will help develop new metrics based on customer developer experience data and use the four DORA metrics and other SDO metrics to make prioritization decisions and communicate impact.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage deployment, evolution, and developer support plans for mobile app platform offerings
  • Help develop new metrics based on customer developer experience data
  • Use the four DORA metrics and other SDO metrics to make prioritization decisions and communicate impact
  • Identify what truly matters and find ways to deliver value quickly by building a deep understanding of our customers through surveys, product analytics, and shadowing customers
  • Champion our new app APIs, tools & services, and the value they offer, with engineering teams across Zillow Group
  • Drive scalability of build system and CI/CD pipeline, documentation, and automated release process
Requirements
  • 5+ years in a product or program management role
  • Deeply technical experience with CI/CD (pipeline layouts, package/artifact management, cloud compute infrastructure, security, and IAM), and mobile engineering tools and patterns such as dependency injection, composition, declarative design and contract testing
  • Familiarity with growing operational maturity across mobile app teams and supporting this growth through adoption of modern mobile development practices and tools and architectural 'building blocks'
  • Platform as a Product approach, understanding developers are your primary customer and passionate about abstracting problems that improve their experience and agility
  • Highly analytical, using data to make decisions and comfortable assembling it yourself or working with others
  • Product Owner, knowing how to take ideas, define products, work with partners, and ship features
  • Outcome-Oriented, able to cut to the core of a problem, identify what needs to be done and when, and work with the development team to get solutions shipped
  • Strong written and oral interpersonal skills in English and Spanish
