Job Requirements

  • We are seeking an experienced Senior Automation Specialist with a strong background in automation testing, including at least 1 year of hands-on experience with Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript).
  • The ideal candidate will have advanced skills in automation frameworks, proficiency in API testing, and extensive experience working in Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive automation test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on user stories and requirements.
  • Use Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript) and Selenium Java to automate testing processes for both new and existing products.
  • Conduct API testing with tools like Postman and frameworks such as Rest Assured.
  • Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks, following best practices and coding standards.
  • Collaborate closely with developers to document, track, and resolve defects.
  • Participate in Agile processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Act as a quality advocate, promoting user satisfaction throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in software testing and contribute to the team's continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience in automation testing, including at least 1 year with Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript) (mandatory) and proficiency with Selenium Java.
  • Advanced proficiency in API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of integrating test frameworks and cases with CI/CD tools like ADO, GitHub, and Jenkins.
  • Solid understanding of design patterns beyond POM, including Factory and Singleton.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, including experience with tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex technical issues.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud-based testing platforms like BrowserStack or SauceLabs.
  • Exposure to cloud environments like AWS, GCP, or similar.
  • Knowledge of best practices and standards in QA for high-quality deliverables.
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams.
