Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Software Developer to join our team at Carrier Global Corporation. As a Senior Java Software Developer, you will play a key role in the development of our building automation system, working on all aspects of the system, including Java-centric server, web client, mobile, desktop, and database technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop software solutions using Agile methodologies and approaches that meet user requirements.
- Participate in project planning by investigating solutions to problems and providing estimates.
- Apply new technologies to advance our product offerings.
- Aid sustaining efforts by providing product knowledge and consultation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of applicable software development experience.
- Expertise in Java programming.
- Proficiency in Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Experience with unit and functional testing.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, Angular, Ajax, JSP, Java servlets, and other web-based technologies.
- Experience with Gradle.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and logical reasoning skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a dynamic environment.
