About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled UX Researcher to join our team at Agileengine. As a UX Researcher, you will play a critical role in informing our product development process through user-centered design principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and conduct generative and evaluative research to inform product development
  • Combine qualitative and quantitative data to gain a deeper understanding of user behavior
  • Screen, recruit, and schedule research participants to ensure diverse and representative samples
  • Create and iterate on personas to guide product development
  • Interpret results and present findings to stakeholders through impactful visuals and actionable research reports
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure research translates into business impact
  • Mentor and coach junior UX researchers and newcomers on the team
Requirements
  • Commercial experience in UX Researcher or Usability Engineer roles, middle and senior levels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including stakeholder presentations and workshop facilitation
  • Experience implementing User-Centered Design processes within an Agile delivery organization
  • Ability to perform foundational, formative, and evaluative research tasks throughout the design process
  • Ability to formulate answerable practical research questions and prioritize them across multiple research streams
  • Attention to detail and mastery of information design
  • Experience with remote tools for conducting research studies
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals and cross-functional teams
  • A strong desire for creative problem-solving with a positive attitude
  • Understanding of user-centered design principles, traditional design principles, and UX and interactive design trends
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or MS in a human behavior-related field, such as Anthropology, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Psychology, or Sociology
  • Equivalent and demonstrable work experience if there is no academic background
