Job Summary

At Proit, Inc., we seek a skilled Automation Test Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for planning and prioritizing testing activities, coordinating with the design team to discuss verification protocols, and suggesting automated software test procedures.

Responsibilities

  1. Plan and prioritize testing activities to ensure timely completion of projects.
  2. Coordinate with the design team to discuss verification protocols and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  3. Suggest automated software test procedures to improve testing efficiency and accuracy.
  4. Track software bugs and investigate their causes to ensure prompt resolution.
  5. Point out problem areas and provide recommendations for improvement.
  6. Prepare automation scripts to streamline testing processes.
  7. Design and handle the installation of software databases to support testing activities.
  8. Troubleshoot automation software issues to ensure seamless testing operations.
  9. Coordinate with the system analyst to finalize system procedures and ensure compliance with testing protocols.
  10. Create test plans and cases to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
  11. Prepare detailed test reports to provide insights into testing results and areas for improvement.
  12. Prioritize and execute tests to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
  13. Review technical specifications and design documents to ensure alignment with testing objectives.
  14. Conduct regression testing as needed to ensure stability and quality of software applications.
  15. Monitor assurance metrics and process results to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Previous work experience as a QA Engineer, QA Tester, or relevant position in the IT department.
  • Complete understanding of automation systems and databases.
  • Knowledge of programming languages like JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Basic knowledge of scripting and other related procedures.
  • Expertise in automation testing tools like Selenium, Katalon Studio, and Cucumber.
  • Understanding of testing protocols and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with the software development process.
  • Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively.
  • Ability to manage project deadlines.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $30,000.00 - $50,000.00 per month, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Ciudad de México: Relocation is required for this position. We offer relocation assistance to help candidates move to Ciudad de México.
