Cost Estimator

HCLTech, a leading global technology company, is seeking a skilled Cost Engineer to join its team in Mexico. With a strong presence in the country since 2008, HCLTech has established itself as a major player in the IT and engineering services sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing costs associated with manufacturing processes, including costing for engine components, commodities, and bill of materials. They will also be expected to have a strong understanding of activity-based costing and cost model development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain accurate cost estimates for manufacturing processes
• Conduct thorough analysis of cost drivers and identify areas for cost reduction
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cost-saving initiatives
• Develop and maintain cost models and activity-based costing systems
• Provide cost-related insights and recommendations to senior management

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience in manufacturing or costing
• Strong understanding of cost estimation and analysis techniques
• Experience with activity-based costing and cost model development
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
