Job Summary

Flowserve Corporation is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating a variety of machines and equipment, including hand tools, to carry out routine tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain machines and equipment, using hand tools as needed.
  • Move materials and parts to and from work areas via power lift trucks and forklifts.
  • Ensure a smooth flow of production and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to solve production and technological problems.
  • Follow complex verbal and written instructions, and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and follow route sheets/blueprints, and train new machine operators.
  • Self-motivated and able to work well in a team environment.
  • Physical demands include standing for long periods, repetitive arm motions, and frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Forklift certification required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in machining or a similar field.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to interpret precision measuring instruments.
