**Job Summary**
Johnson Electric Group is seeking an experienced and strategic-minded Senior Commodity Lead to join our Supply Chain team. As a Senior Commodity Lead, you will play a critical role in managing our supply chain, optimizing costs, and ensuring the timely availability of high-quality materials.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage commodities and suppliers to ensure optimal costs and quality
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including IATF16949 and ISO 9000
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with supplier performance and market fluctuations
- Develop and implement supplier benchmarking and consolidation strategies
**Requirements**
- Local to Mexico or willing to relocate with paid relocation
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, or a related field
- 3+ years of purchasing and commodity management experience
- Business-level English and Spanish language skills
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience in supplier development and management
- Familiarity with ERP systems and office software, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with automotive industry quality requirements
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills
- Good organizational skills and ability to achieve deliverables on time
