Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Sterilization Specialist to join our team at Medtronic. As a key member of our Quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the sterilization processes are properly maintained and validated, adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
About the Role
You will analyze chemical, biological, or microbiological products, raw materials, in-process materials, release test samples, or stability samples in support of the company's quality program. Additionally, you will prepare, clean, disinfect, and/or sterilize instruments, materials, products, and/or supplies.
Responsibilities
- Develop, validate, and implement controlled environment methods.
- Perform qualitative tests or quantitative assays on samples using techniques that vary from use of standard analytical equipment to highly modern and automated instrumentation.
- May also be involved in establishing requirements for the transfer of methodology from R&D.
- Work independently with general supervision on larger, moderately complex projects or assignments.
- Set objectives for own job area to meet the objectives of projects and assignments.
Requirements
A Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. - 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) and minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 0 years of experience.
