Painter and Decorator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter and Decorator to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. as a Maintenance Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the maintenance and repair of our facilities, including painting, decorating, and other related duties.

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including painting and decorating, to ensure the upkeep of our facilities.
• Respond to guest repair requests in a timely and efficient manner.
• Communicate with guests and colleagues to resolve maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Identify and report any maintenance problems or safety hazards.
• Assist in the training and mentoring of other maintenance staff.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience in a maintenance or related role.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
