At Thomson Reuters, we are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to lead our automation efforts.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled QA engineer with expertise in automation testing. As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test cases and frameworks using .Net and BDD SpecFlow. Your goal will be to ensure the quality of our applications by executing and analyzing automated test case runs using GitHub Actions.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop automated test cases and frameworks using .Net and BDD SpecFlow.
  • Execute and analyze automated test case runs using GitHub Actions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify test requirements and automate them using industry-leading tools and technologies.
  • Participate in Agile development methodologies and contribute to the development of high-quality software products.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers to improve their skills and knowledge.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in developing and maintaining automated test cases and frameworks using .Net and BDD SpecFlow.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with technical staff, business analysts, management, and business team members.
Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Expertise in C# .Net, BDD SpecFlow, Selenium, Rest API.
  • Experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions YAML, Azure DevOps (Test Plan Module).
  • Strong understanding of Agile Methodologies – Scrum.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 per year, depending on location and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off. Our hybrid work model allows for 2-3 days of remote work per week.
