About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team at Wizeline. As an Application Security Expert, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our software systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement secure software architectures to protect against threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and maintain security tools, libraries, and instrumentation to identify and remediate security issues.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into the development lifecycle.
  • Perform code and design reviews to identify and help remediate security flaws.
  • Utilize threat modeling to monitor our attack surface and influence system design patterns.
  • Partner with developers to design and promote secure software architectures.
  • Mentor engineering teams to implement secure practices in their processes.
  • Document security processes and procedures to generate reusable knowledge.
  • Respond and manage security incidents presented during the development lifecycle.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with threat modeling, secure coding, identity management, and authentication.
  • Experience implementing, running, and maintaining tools and/or processes to identify security issues.
  • Knowledgeable regarding backend security topics such as secret management and service authentication.
  • Knowledgeable regarding git, DevOps, and CI/CD principles.
  • Software development proficiency in Go, Ruby, Python, Java, C#, Obj-C/Swift.
  • Strong ethics and understanding of ethics in information security.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Must be organized, goal-oriented, and a self-starter.
