We are seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to direct the manufacturing operations performed on a shift or group of production lines. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that volume, quality, and cost targets are achieved.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Direct the manufacturing operations performed on a shift or group of production lines, ensuring that volume, quality, and cost targets are achieved.
- Have authority for personnel actions and oversee most of the daily operations of the group.
- Keep a record of shift operations.
- Prepare daily hourly employee timesheets, production summaries, overtime, and downtime reports.
- Inspect product to verify that production specifications are met.
- Assign employees to maximize production goals, maintain quality, and meet production requirements.
- Participate in establishing and modifying operating methods and processes by recommending changes in materials, equipment, and procedures.
- Maintain various production reports, records, and documentation to reflect schedules and performance.
- Train new workers in the organization's operating procedures and standards.
**Requirements**
- High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 5 years related experience.
- Good work record and experience.
- Ability to lead in a production environment.
- Requires tact and good judgement.
- Excellent communication skills.
