**Job Summary**

The Dräxlmaier Group is seeking a skilled Commodity Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal procurement of direct and indirect materials for the company.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Support the global lead buyer/senior buyer in expanding global commodity strategies
  • Monitor and analyze the applicable procurement markets
  • Collaborate with the Purchasing technical project leader (FPL-P) during the project phase
  • Request, compare, and evaluate extensive bids, taking into account price, quality, delivery performance, and technology
  • Identify and realize cost-savings potentials
  • Promote new technologies and substitutes, including initiation of approval processes

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A professional career in Business, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • Relevant experience in contract negotiations, with a minimum of 3-5 years

**Technical Skills**

You will need to have:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Market knowledge

  • Risk analysis

**Language Skills**

Advanced English language skills are required.
