Job Summary:
As an Industrial Engineering Technician II at Jabil Circuit, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Industrial Engineering Department in planning, designing, implementing, and managing integrated production and service delivery systems. Your focus will be on assisting the Industrial Engineer in maintaining layouts and data in IE-related systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of time studies and time estimates to optimize production efficiency.
- Update site layouts and project layouts as directed by the Industrial Engineer to ensure seamless production processes.
- Update Key Process and process maps as directed by the Industrial Engineer to maintain data integrity.
- Enter configuration data into SAP and Manufacturing Execution System as directed by the Industrial Engineer to ensure accurate production data.
- Support the standardization of Jabil processes throughout the site to align with global, regional, and site direction.
- Collaborate with the Lean organization to maintain a solid process foundation and data integrity to support process improvement initiatives.
- Support and/or maintain all lower-level Industrial Engineering essential duties and responsibilities.
- Comply with and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Industrial Engineer.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding and application of industrial engineering tools, including work measurement, process mapping, facilities, and workstation design.
- Attention to detail when updating data and systems.
- Basic analytical and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using personal computers, Microsoft Office products, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD.
