Senior Geomatics Technician

Job Summary:
Allnorth Ingeniería is a leading multidisciplinary engineering and technical services team that has experienced significant growth in recent years. As a Senior Geomatics Technician - Pipeline Surveying, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality surveying services to our clients in the Mining, Oil & Gas, Infrastructure, and Pulp & Paper sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up control points for survey work along project lengths
- Stake working widths, centerlines, and extra workspaces as specified in drawings
- Capture data on pipe as built, pipe tracking, depth of cover, and ditch plugs
- Perform volume calculations
- Report on features removed or destroyed during construction, barriers, and bridges
- Prepare summary reports on pipe tracking, including installed, waste, and lost pipe, and track each pipe joint
- Conduct 3D scanning, including modeling and data processing using Leica scanners

Requirements:
- 3+ years of construction surveying experience
- 2+ years of GPS field work experience
- Previous pipeline survey experience
- Slope staking experience
- Road surveyor experience
- 3D scanning experience
- Degree or diploma in Geomatics Engineering or Surveying Technology, or equivalent
- Experience using AutoCAD's Civil 3D is an asset
- Registration as a Professional Survey Technologist is an asset
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Technical competence and attention to detail
- High level of dependability
- Willingness to work in remote areas or in a camp-based position
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to read and write in English

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
