**What You'll Do**:

- **Security Detections**: Accurately respond to and document security incidents, following detailed procedures to track and resolve issues.

- **Incident Management**: Manage security breaches, participate in containment strategies, conduct forensic analysis, and drive the eradication of threats.

- **Proactive Threat Hunting**: Utilize existing and emerging threat intelligence to conduct and review threat hunts, managing any identified risks.

- **Tuning and Optimization**: Take ownership of tuning security tools and processes, ensuring efficient operation and effective threat coverage.

**What You May Need to be Successful**:

- Location: This position is remote but requires residency in Mexico, preferably in or near Mexico City.

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related fields, or equivalent technical certifications.

- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in cybersecurity, with proven skills in incident response and threat management.

- OnCall Requirement: Ability to participate in an oncall rotation approximately once a month, which may include additional oncalls during longer months.

- Skills: Strong technical understanding of cybersecurity practices, including proactive and reactive measures.

- Abilities: Excellent analytical and documentation skills, with the ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
