Job Overview
Sales Inventory Support plays a crucial role in providing necessary information to various stakeholders, ensuring seamless product availability and exceptional customer experience.
This position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to expedite products, address backorders, and manage production holds.
Main Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries within 24 hours regarding product status, ETA, inventory levels, and production status.
- Coordinate efforts with Receiving, Supply Planners, Plant Expeditors, Customs, and Distribution to expedite critical products.
- Review and fill open backorders for customers and distributors.
- Manage customer usage spikes and handle sample and credit requests.
- Find alternative finished goods options for backorder situations.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Administration.
- 5 years of experience in a similar role or function.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with internal and external business partners.
- Proficiency in MS Office and AS400 SAP systems.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
