As a skilled professional, you will leverage your extensive technical knowledge of HVAC refrigeration systems to oversee the planning, development, and execution of Planned Maintenance Elements within a Continuous Improvement manufacturing framework. Your role will involve collaboration with diverse teams, including technical and non-technical personnel, key support contractors, and operational staff.
Key Responsibilities
You will:
- Collaborate with line leaders to achieve SQCDSM objectives—Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability, and Morale—ensuring process stability; actively participate in Daily Management Systems (DMS) meetings at both shift and line levels.
- Take ownership of the technology and processes, ensuring deep technical expertise in HVAC refrigeration systems; manage the Progressive Maintenance (PM) systems and work processes, along with the associated Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the lines, while overseeing the Repairs & Maintenance (R&M) budget.
- Develop, implement, and be accountable for preventive and time-based maintenance systems and plans for the lines; enhance the technical and maintenance capabilities of the technicians, enabling them to operate and maintain their equipment independently; lead PM initiatives at both line and departmental levels.
- Partner with the Asset and Reliability team to drive system improvements and execute specialized maintenance tasks; manage change effectively on the lines, localize spare parts, conduct thorough breakdown analyses, and implement R&M cost reduction strategies.
- Assist in the introduction of new initiatives and empower the VSU team; support line leaders in internal and external benchmarking; serve as a subject matter expert in specific component categories and provide training on PM-related topics.
- Coordinate maintenance services with external providers for HVAC refrigeration operations.
Qualifications and Experience
A strong desire to advance your career, coupled with the following qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge and skills in maintaining dedicated HVAC refrigeration equipment, including executing Autonomous Maintenance (AM) and Planned Maintenance (PM) standards.
- Proven ability to lead roles within the line, qualifying and coaching team members while driving common improvement areas through a structured PDCA (Plan Do Check Adjust) approach.
- Capability to act as the Line Leader, aligning goals and master plans for the line, managing individual development plans (IDP) for team members, and coaching them on performance management and career growth.
Additional Information
Education / Certifications:
- Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of two years of experience in refrigeration systems.
Specific Job Requirements:
- Strong leadership skills, accountability for results, and a commitment to service quality.
Work Schedule:
- Full-time, Monday to Friday.
