Relationship Associate

The Relationship Associate is a developing professional role at Citibank. This position applies specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing, and/or evaluating processes and data. The ideal candidate identifies policy gaps and formulates policies, interprets data, and makes recommendations. Researching and interpreting factual information is also a key responsibility. The Relationship Associate must identify inconsistencies in data or results, define business issues, and formulate recommendations on policies, procedures, or practices. This role integrates established disciplinary knowledge within the specialty area with a basic understanding of related industry practices. A good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area is also required. The Relationship Associate develops a working knowledge of industry practices and standards. The impact of the job holder is restricted to their own team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day client servicing, handle, and provide timely resolution to client issues.
• Validate client data and documentation in relevant systems.
• Take the lead to coordinate and follow-up across internal departments to solve client needs.
• Provide feedback to clients related to emerging product needs, competitive practice, and ideas on process/product improvement.
• Analyze client data and provide reporting as needed.
• Assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

• 0-2 years of relevant experience.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree.
