About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Loss Prevention Analyst to join our Critical Asset Protection team at Thermo Fisher Scientific.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective data loss prevention strategies to safeguard sensitive information.
  • Monitor and analyze data loss and insider threat activity to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to develop and improve detection, alerting, and response capabilities.
  • Contribute to the development of valuable metrics and key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of data loss prevention efforts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in IT, cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Experience with data loss prevention, SIEM, EDR, IRM, SOAR, and/or UEBA solutions is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
