- Minimize Risks: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with commodity sourcing.
- Collaborate with Commodity Team: Work closely with the commodities team to ensure deadlines are met and projects are completed successfully.
- Develop and Manage Pricing Strategies: Create and implement pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
- Encourage Team Spirit and Discuss Performance Periodically: Foster a positive team environment and regularly discuss performance with team members.
- Draft Proposals to Manage Contracts and Negotiations: Develop and submit proposals to manage contracts and negotiate with suppliers.
- Preserve and Promote Company Standards: Ensure that company standards are maintained and promoted throughout the commodity sourcing process.
- Collaborate with Suppliers on Improving Quality: Work with suppliers to improve quality and reduce defects.
- Alleviate Risks and Focus on Developing Supplier Performance: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with supplier performance and develop strategies to improve it.
- Assist in Keeping Project Within Budgeting Guidelines: Ensure that projects are completed within budget and that costs are managed effectively.
- Instruct and Support Trainees on Commodity Sourcing: Provide training and support to new team members on commodity sourcing processes.
- Supervise Supply Quality and Feedback: Monitor and improve supply quality and provide feedback to suppliers.
- Inculcate Extensive Knowledge on Commodities and Their Sales and Purchase: Develop and maintain expertise on commodities and their sales and purchase processes.
- Develop and Maintain Business Communication with Suppliers: Establish and maintain effective communication with suppliers regarding their concerns and needs.
- Encourage Staff to Design Novel Techniques for Commodity Sourcing: Foster a culture of innovation and encourage team members to develop new and improved techniques for commodity sourcing.
Requirements: 1 year of experience as a commodity manager. Ability to commute or relocate to Monterrey, N. L. before starting work.
Salary: $600.00 per hour.
