Your Role

As a Maintenance Scheduling Engineer, you will take charge of developing and organizing preventive and corrective maintenance schedules, alongside conducting data analysis and various related tasks.

Our Department

This role requires regular interaction with both internal and external stakeholders across various levels of the organization, including peers, professionals, and operational staff at Molex and its suppliers. (Manufacturing Services, Quality Assurance, Other Production Personnel, Suppliers, Procurement, Finance)

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with diverse teams within the production sector and across Molex to enhance all manufacturing operations and meet plant objectives in a cost-effective manner. Lead the preparation of the Maintenance Budget utilizing CMMS/SAP. Generate monthly reports to establish and monitor costs associated with each piece of equipment and completed work orders. Formulate scheduled preventive maintenance plans for plant machinery. Plan and organize both long-term and short-term outage activities. Proactively identify and mitigate potential manufacturing delays by coordinating all elements of the PM process, including workforce, parts, equipment, and materials. Balance weekly production demands with the necessity for reliability and proactive maintenance. Collaborate with process management and materials planning to execute maintenance without disrupting production. Utilize SAP for planning and scheduling maintenance tasks to ensure seamless production flow. Act as a SuperUser for the SAP Plant Maintenance Module. Review prioritized work orders to assess their suitability for planning and scheduling processes. Understand, support, and contribute to Molex's adherence to International Standards Organization (ISO) and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) Management Systems by following established policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with a focus on Maintenance. Relevant experience in a similar role. Proficiency in SAP maintenance. Practical experience with plant utilities and manufacturing equipment. Familiarity with 5 Whys and Ishikawa (Fishbone diagram) methodologies. Fluent in English. Knowledge of statistical and engineering techniques for implementing preventive and corrective measures. Understanding of maintenance methods and processes for molding and assembly machinery. Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical schematics. Strong computer skills, including experience with spreadsheet, presentation, and word processing software.

Project management capabilities that showcase the ability to establish goals and priorities for timely project completion. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex technical concepts clearly and succinctly. Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively at all organizational levels.
