About the Role:

Fender Musical Instruments Corporation is a world-renowned brand with a global presence. As a key member of our Purchasing team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the procurement of materials needed for Fender's operations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Purchasing and Procurement: Source materials from approved suppliers with sufficient lead time to prevent shortages, and expedite solutions to any problems related to delivery dates, quality, and quantity.
  2. Supplier Management: Review and resolve issues with suppliers that could cause company losses, such as quality, delivery delays, and quantity discrepancies.
  3. Inventory Management: Maintain inventory levels and ensure that the department's KPIs are on target.
  4. Reporting and Administration: Run purchase requisitions reports, place purchase orders with suppliers, and keep the DOS for purchased materials on target.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Management or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a procurement position or similar.
  3. Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, MRP system knowledge (preferably SAP), and strong analytical and communication skills.
  4. Language: English proficiency of 80% or higher.
