Key Responsibilities- Manage a team of approximately 12 specialists and analysts in charge of tax compliance for Latin America Countries.
- Guide teams with focus on effective operational execution, responsible for the short to midterm operational and tactical team activities.
- Support in all tax matters related to the establishment of Tax Operations organization in Latin America Countries.
- Monitor and ensure tax compliance for all tax activities in line with corporate standards and guidelines.
- Establish, implement and monitor tax routines to ensure compliance across the countries in scope with focus on the Tax process management tool for tax compliance status tracking.
- Develop instructions about the handling of different tax issues during Tax roll-out, sharing them with local tax experts, obtaining their buy-in and making them part of the Tax governance processes.
- Drive, ensure and participate in ABB internal tax reviews and projects that are part of Tax Operations.
- Engage with resources in a matrix organization working across multiple delivery teams to successful delivery project commitments with customer satisfaction (Agile Project Management framework).
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 6+ years of experience in Finance with at least 5 years of experience in taxation.
- Team management experience.
- Tax compliance and tax advisory in Latin America and/or Mexico experience.
- Knowledge of direct and indirect tax compliance and tax accounting.
- ERP system experience (SAP preferred).
- Excel skills (functions, pivot table).
- Mid-Advanced English.
