Job Summary

As a key member of the Vertiv team, the Inventory Optimization Supervisor will play a critical role in ensuring the company's inventory levels are optimized to meet customer requirements and expectations. This position will be responsible for supervising associates to accomplish department and organizational objectives, while also encouraging continual growth and development within the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement plans and strategies for inventory level optimization to achieve and exceed company targets.
  • Track and analyze inventory and materials department KPIs to identify areas for improvement.
  • Report deviations from target and establish actions for proper correction in conjunction with materials department staff.
  • Act as a change agent within the organization, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Provide direction, support, and resources to individuals and teams to ensure they meet customer requirements and expectations.
  • Communicate company policies and objectives, fostering a culture of open communication and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in the materials department (Planning, Purchasing, Warehousing), inventory control, or a related field.
  • Exposure to fast-paced manufacturing environments.
  • 3 to 5 years of combined supervisory experience in the present line of work.
  • Proficiency in utilizing analytical tools (MS Excel).
