Marinero Assistant

Job Overview

The Marinero Assistant will operate and navigate passenger boats according to regulations, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for guests. This role requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive passenger boats according to regulations
• Instruct guests on boating safety and use of life jackets
• Clean and perform minor maintenance on boats
• Monitor the condition of returned recreation equipment and send for repair when necessary
• Conduct inventory of supplies, materials, and equipment and inform supervisor/manager of low supply items
• Complete requisitions for additional supplies, materials, and equipment
• Provide assistance to injured guests until the arrival of emergency medical services

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• CPR Certification
• First Aid Certification
• Recreation Equipment certification
• Any certification or training required by state and local agencies

Preferred Qualifications

• Some college education
• At least 3 years of related work experience
