About the Role:

This leadership position directs and coordinates all manufacturing activities and programs within the Engineering area. The Senior Supply Chain Manager oversees this role. This leader participates in the development and implementation of transfer plans. They develop, maintain, and improve all Business Processes under their supervision. Participating in day-to-day operations, they are responsible for producing products at the lowest cost while maintaining quality control specifications and production schedules.

The leader directs and coordinates activities of one or more engineering programs within operations, supporting production and/or developing new products for Business Units. These programs include Manufacturing/Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Systems, Transfer Processes, Technology Development, Tools (Design, Manufacturing, Assembly, Procurement and Calibration) and Plant/Equipment Maintenance. They manage and work on problems of diverse scope where data analysis requires evaluation of identifiable factors; selects methods and techniques for troubleshooting. Directs and coordinates Engineering Managers to reach production goals/NPI consistent with costs, high quality, profitability, and delivery times required. Interacting with the New Product Development process generates processes and introduces plans for new products. This position gives direction and adapts tests and recommends changes in processes and designs. Directs, coordinates, and executes the principles of Project Management, methods, tools, and techniques for effective planning, programs, organizes, controls, integrates, and terminates projects with the required scope and time, either performing the activities personally or through subordinates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directs and Coordinates Engineering Programs: Directs and coordinates activities of one or more engineering programs within operations, supporting production and/or developing new products for Business Units.
  • Manages Business Processes: Develops, maintains, and improves all Business Processes under their supervision.
  • Participates in New Product Development: Interacts with the New Product Development process generates processes and introduces plans for new products.
  • Directs and Coordinates Engineering Managers: Directs and coordinates Engineering Managers to reach production goals/NPI consistent with costs, high quality, profitability, and delivery times required.
Requirements:

This role requires an individual who demonstrates creativity, foresight, and ability to make judgments, anticipate and solve problems, generate programs to obtain objectives/requirements, organization/leadership in projects and develop standards and guides for technical activities.

A minimum salary of $120,000 per year is expected for this position based on its responsibilities and requirements.
